R.I.P.
The Juggernaut 2 truck was traded off in late 2001 without having seen any action. The TXT-1 was based on the same transmission, but was far superior to the Juggernaut 2 in all categories, so it was just logical to let her go when I built my TXT-1 and was offered an Emaxx for the Jugg2. I do believe I've found her a good home, where she'll see plenty of action with her new owner, James.

Here on SYSTEM BLOODCLOD, she shall be remembered fondly.

Project: TITAN - Tamiya Juggernaut 2
Here you will find up-to-date information about my Tamiya Juggernaut 2 truck. The links under the 'Phases' document the evolution of the truck. Click on them for more detailed info and larger pics. Similarly, you can also click on any of the items in the 'Related Info' section.

Project Brief
This project is named TITAN because it is a very impressive truck - even stock! With it's aluminium chassis, centralized gearbox, and cool imex-style tires, this rig scores high in the looks department. I knew this truck would definitely be built primarily for show.

I didn't like the leaf spring setup of the stock suspension because they limited travel. So I removed the links, designed and made a custom setup of my own with oil shocks. I also upgraded the truck with a bunch of GPM blue-anodized, machined aluminium parts. Its topped it off with a Pro-Line F-150 Street Truck body with a custom paint job.

Phases

Phase I
This truck was built with mods from the start. Blue anodized hardware, custom suspension mods, custom painted body.
Phase II
Added machined suspension link rods, steering knuckles and chassis mounts. Check out these cool mods.
Phase III
No real new hardware... but the pics have been re-shot with a good digital camera!
