Phase I (continued)

Custom 4-Link Setup #02 - more pics...

This setup worked a lot better for me. Because the links were now triangulated above the gearbox (instead of below), the suspension geometry changed greatly and the truck's axle can articulate a lot more before the tire hits the shock or chassis. Here you can see that I get about 6.5-7.0 inches of articulation - and this is with the stock ladder bars. The articulation is limited now by the budget oil shocks I am currently using (under US$22 for all 4!) and if I switch to the AE or Losi units I am certain the articulation will increase.

More detailed pics of the tranny setup. The blue booties add to the colour scheme of my truck, as do the blue rod-ends. I've got plans for more blue-anodized stuff!

Body Pics!

What you see here is the F-150 Street Truck body by ProLine. I love how it looks!

I chose to go with the blue paint scheme with silver 'slash marks' so it looks sleek and trick. Somehow I just don't favour those fancy multi-colour (touring sedan styled) paint jobs on my MTs. The numbers are decals, but the designs are all spray-painted.

Close Ups

On the left you can see a close-up of the paint details and on the right was how I mounted the lexan body onto the Jugg2. I'm gonna take my time to paint the stock one - and it's gonna be a purely show body.
